Advanced Classes

Honor Classes, Dual Credit and Advanced Placement (AP) Courses

Honor Classes are offered in  English III and Physics.

SVA provides the opportunity for diligent students with good grades to earn college credits while attending SVA.  The 29 hours of *dual credit courses offered are General Education courses required by most colleges and universities. College credits are granted by Washington Adventist University (WAU) and are transferable to most colleges and universities. 

Students pay 10% of WAU’s regular tuition charges and full-price for all textbooks. Full payment is due to SVA prior to the beginning of class. Payment may not be charged to the student’s account.  Students must meet the minimum GPA and assessment test requirement.

**Courses in AP Calculus AB and English IV are also offered to qualified students.
