Several types of financial aid are available to SVA students based on academic qualifications and financial need.

The following types of financial aid and scholarships may be available to SVA students:

Approximately one-half of our students receive Student Aid and the average amount is 25 percent of total costs.  Several types of financial aid are available to SVA students based on academic qualifications and financial need.  If applying for financial aid, parents are required to submit the SVA Application for Student Aid to our Business Office (applications are available by mail or online at our website).

Students may apply to their church for a two-way matching scholarship. SVA will match funds received from a church up to $1,500 for dorm students making a possible scholarship of $3,000.00 or $750.00 for community students making a possible scholarship of $1,500.00.  This student aid is renewable each year.
