Several types of financial aid are available to SVA students based on academic qualifications and financial need. If applying for financial aid, SVA requires the parents to complete an FACTS Tuition Aid application at https://www.factstuitionaid.com/facts/gaapp. Paper applications are available in the SVA business office in English and Spanish for those who are unabale to apply online.
Applicants for financial aid are also required to submit standardized test scores, such as SSAT, ITBS, PSAT, PLAN, or scores from other standardized exams. Copies of scores from these exams should be sent to the Director of Admissions at SVA.
Students may apply to their church for a two-way matching scholarship of up to $3,000; one-half paid by the church and one-half paid by SVA. Applications available at SVA. Renewable.
SVA Financial Aid
Several types of scholarships are available to SVA students based on academic abilities and performance.
Academic scholarships are awarded based on transcript GPA from the previous school year. Renewal based on GPA. No additional application required.
Activity scholarships are awarded based on skills/abilities in Bible knowledge, instrumental or vocal music, art, English, Math, or athletics. Auditions and/or examples of abilities will be judged by SVA faculty in determining the amount of each scholarship. Non-renewable.
