Sports & Physical Fitness

Athletic programs contribute to SVA’s school spirit and provide an important base for developing physical fitness.
Intramural and interscholarship sports provide opportunities for all students who are interested to participate in the sport of their choice.

SVA participates in the following interscholastic sports and is a member of the Cavalier Athletic Conference:  Boys & Girls Soccers; Boys Baseball, Girls Volleyball, Girls and Boys Basketball

Our large indoor swimming pool is attractive to many students – especially when the water is heated!

In addition to a dedicated weight/fitness center,  each dormitory has a fitness center with multiple pieces of equipment for cardiovascular and strength training.
