TESTING SCHEDULE, 2018-19 SCHOOL YEAR

Freshmen and Sophomores take the ACT ASPIRE suite of tests in April, 2019. Test results from the Spring, 2018, testing have been mailed to parents.  Understanding Your ACT Aspire Summative Results will explain the scoring system and what the test results can tell you about your student's progress.

Important ACT Information:
  • All Seniors will take the ACT test on October 2.  The Guidance Office will be registering them for this test date. SVA will be paying for this test.  This date will not be open to Juniors.
  • All other test dates are open to Juniors and Seniors.  Registration is online.  See Guidance Office BEFORE registering for the first time.  Register at www.actstudent.org.
  • All Juniors will take the ACT test on April 14.  The Guidance Office will be registering them for this test date, and SVA will be paying for this test.

Important Information

  • U.S. registration materials that are mailed must be postmarked by the U.S. deadlines. The deadlines expire at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, U.S.
  • Additional fees apply if you register late, change your test center, change your test date, or switch from taking the SAT to taking a Subject Test after registering. Find out how to make registration changes and get deadlines.
  • Sunday administrations require a paper registration the first time the test is taken.  Registration packets are available in the counseling office. The registration packet must include a letter from the school counselor or clergy stating that the student has religious reasons for testing on Sunday.  After the initial registration, students may register online for additional test dates.  See school counselor for paper registration materials and letter.
  • If you miss the late registration deadline, you may be able to get on the waitlist.
