Cultivating Student Growth, Health, and Learning

Immanuel's Ground: The Shenandoah Valley Academy Farm is committed to sustainable farming practices that nurture both students and our community. Through hands-on learning, SVA Agriculture cultivates healthy produce, fosters a deeper understanding of agriculture, and prepares students for a life of service.

Learning Through Experience

We believe that true learning comes through experience. Through our Agriculture Science class, students explore the principles of sustainable farming, gaining both knowledge and practical skills. By working on the farm, they develop a deeper appreciation for where food comes from and preparation for future careers in agriculture.

Farm to Café: Fresh, Wholesome Meals

Our school farm supplies fresh, nutrient-rich produce directly to the cafeteria, ensuring that students enjoy wholesome, organic meals. Using sustainable practices that enhance nutrient content while avoiding non-organic pesticides, we prioritize both nourishment and safety.

Weekly Community Market

Open April through Thanksgiving, farm produce is available every Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Immanuel’s Ground: The Shenandoah Valley Academy Farm. This weekly market allows the local community to purchase fresh, naturally grown fruits and vegetables directly from our farm.
